I don’t mean salad cream and egg and cress. I don’t mean salad cream and cheddar cheese. I mean salad cream sandwiches on supermarket own brand bread. Are we eating them?

While we’re at it, bread sticks and chocolate spread?

    I can’t quite figure out why it’s so repulsive to me but I really fucking hate salad cream. Don’t like the taste very much but what really gets me is the smell. It doesn’t make any sense because based on the ingredients I should love it. In fact, now that I think about it, when I make potato salad and mix additional flavours in to the mayonnaise, I’ve basically made salad cream. But for some reason, that “salad cream” and a bottle of salad cream are completely different and the latter is repellant. The other curious thing about it is that I used to just absolutely love the stuff when I was a kid and then one day I just didn’t. Really weird, but either just mayo, or mayo with salad cream ingredients added separately please, none of that nasty shit.

    Also, a dressing sandwich? Naw thanks, if I’m that hard up I’ll have bread and butter or just not a sandwich, instant noodles are even cheaper.
