The title is in reference to some random John Waters quote and has very little to do with the post itself. A more apt title would be “I Got My Apartment Renovated: Intellectual Masturbation by The Bookshelves”.
The other commenters won’t know this, because they don’t read or get laid.
“looks at bookshelf of completely unread books.” Oh… Yeah I love books!
I know you’re joking but it’s absolutely possible to love books even when most may be unread. Umberto Eco sings the praises of the so-called “anti-library” here: https://www.themarginalian.org/2015/03/24/umberto-eco-antilibrary/
I only got eBooks. Do I show off my epub and pdf collection then?

Sexting only in that case!
Yeah, I gave all of my physical books to the library and have like 1k books on my Kindle.
I don’t know, but that’s a good question 😅
Yeah! Fuck e-book and audiobook users!
Did you read the article? It says not to do that!
I give books away, so I’m out.
I had a near visceral reaction reading that article when he suggested refusing people asking if they can borrow a book.
What’s the point of having a library if you aren’t going to share?
I use books for a decoration
I use em for heat.
Steady on Adolph.
