Feels like the pendulum is swinging the way of NACS. How do folks feel about that?

    In the US? Yeah, it’s a better connector. Since the CCS networks are reportedly still shit, I do like the idea of everyone adopting NACS. Plus it’s my understanding that they’ll both be compatible with an adapter, so it won’t be too big of a deal.

    Tesla should have opened up their standard years ago and I’m honestly not sure why they didn’t. They were already kicking butt with their charging network, they stand to make money off other people’s cars now, which they could have been doing sooner.

      I think before they were thinking of the charging network as a method of keeping ahead of other auto manufacturers, but I think they see the writing on the wall and want to influence usage before legislation happens.
