The OKC Thunder traded for Chris Paul in the Summer of 2019 which set the process of a rebuild in motion. Paul says it saved his career.

I was surprised when Chris Paul was traded to us and ended up staying but I remember him having a decent season in OKC. Glad OKC can have this kind of positive environment.

    He really rallied the troops together here during that run. He bought the team suits and from then we gelled. I think he helped teach Shai a lot about the league, too.

    It was a great time while he was here again. Really enjoyed his vibe that he brought to the team.
