LPTR: fastest way to fall asleep?

More info: I’ve tried a few methods, including devices out of reach with no light, and breathing techniques. Breathing seems to be closest but I seem to have a hard time getting to a point where my breaths really slow down and relax.

I’ve found that a bedtime routine, diphenhydramine, and reading until I can’t keep my eyes open work best for me. I got an e-reader with a red backlight for it specifically! If I’m particularly unsettled, I’ll listen to a podcast to fall asleep to also, but YMMV on that one :)

@lortikins I need to find and get my e reader back up and going. I’ve tried to read on my on my phone but I guess I might as well be watching TV or a laptop at that point. I used to listen to 99designs… such a soothing podcast voice. Good tips. Thanks!
