The only problem with it, is the more I look at it, the more I want to buy more germans. A 104. a 105. Maybe a Stowa Antea. Maybe a Nomos metro. Definitely a Max Bill. Took me a long while to realize I just really prefer German design.
I was just looking at the Stowa Antea, I like the dial color on the “Antea KS. Handwinding. From 2004.” one a little over halfway down the page, too bad they don’t currently sell it:

I like Nomos too, I have the Lamba 39 ‘samtschwarz’ dial.

Long story short, I don’t think the problem you mention is really a problem. Wallets grow back, just not as fast as I’d prefer 😅
I got a good laugh out of that. Thankfully my wallet is growing back faster then it ever has by a long shot, thanks to my union and my beautiful crane. Congrats on your Max, wear it in good health.
