When trying to log in to lemm.ee using the newest Jerboa version (0.0.35) from the Play Store, it pops up a message saying “Server version (0.17.4) is under the minimum supported version (0.18)”.
Should I try to install an older Jerboa version from their Github? What are other Jerboa users on lemm.ee using?
Hey, you can follow this method. I tried and it works.
Thanks for the tip! But seeing that other users are saying they may or may not get crashes, I think I’ll just use the web browser UI for now!
I’m using a browser right now. Lemmy 0.18 was released less than an hour ago. Hopefully the servers will be updated and jerboa 0.0.35 will function properly. But I’m just a guy who read all this on lemmy, I have no actual knowledge.
You can use it without too many issues. Sometimes I get crashes, but since I think lemm.ee will get to 0.18 soon, it’s fine.
I am unable to log in using Jerboa at all, probably because it is the first time I installed the app, while other users already were logged in to lemm.ee before they updated Jerboa?
Anyways, now I saw the post in !meta about the 0.18 upgrade, I guess I’ll just wait for it then! (Or consider trying another app.) No big problem in any case.
Same happed with me. You can try this method.
Both 0.0.35 and 0.18 are great updates, hope we get 0.18 here soon (:
I tried to log in using the older versions but they simply crashed in my phone.
F-droid has 0.0.34 now - I’m using it with no problems, but will be careful before upgrading
