Kind of a grail pen. As a child of the 60s & 70s, I’m fond of rainbows even without their modern symbolism, which I support. Happened to catch this one on sale, and it arrived yesterday. I’m very happy.
That’s lovely! How does it write?
That pen is stunning! What are you inking it up with first?
Thanks! It’s now filled with Noodler’s Liberty’s Elysium. I love the darker blue of that ink.
I have similar feelings about my TWSBI Vac 700R. There’s something about the way the colour changes ever so slightly as you move it that mesmerises.
Crikey, what a scorcher! A little bit flamboyant for me, but in the right hands…
How does she write?
I don’t mind flamboyant, particularly. It gets noticed. And I love metallic multicolor finishes, which remind me of the 70s.
It writes beautifully, almost as smooth as my 14k gold plated Scheaffer nib. I think I’m going to enjoy having this as a daily driver for a while.
Flamboyant suits some people, I’m not one of them!
I’ll only buy black pens until they invent a darker colour.
