The number of bone headed mistakes that kept the Lions just out of reach of retaking the game in the second half was wild. Should have been a blowout but the team collectively forgot how to catch in the third quarter then threw away a shot at 3 to go for a TD in the 4th that ended up being the difference.
You can say SoL or you can say “this team won’t make those same mistakes next time” . Either way a disappointing end to the season.
SOL is dead. This felt like the Pistons losing the Celtics in 1987. The moment was just a little too much for our younger team.
Ohhh, I’m hearing the Commanders might go with Mike McDonald, defensive coordinator for the Ravens. Leaving Ben Johnson here for next year.
Or maybe it’s just copium.
Seahawks sound like they are between those two as well, so I think Ben is gone either way…
