        I am sorry, but the fictional Archie Bunker was born in 1924. He is not a Boomer. He is from two generations older.

        You are right that he was intended to be disliked and an extreme character.

        His son in law is the Boomer.

      Yes. Multiple characters were sexist and clowned on. Katara only learned how to use her powers after a sexist teacher realized his views were wrong. These characters grew up in a society with defined gender roles and these producers expect them to have no brainworms lol. Honestly that type of erasure is damaging imo because it shows that boys and men magically become better instead of evolving through empathy, socializing, and reeducation. Or deprogramming for the liberals who are scared of the word reeducation.

    Idk, I think turning down the sexism is good. Sokka had it almost at 11 and it doesn’t need to be in there. Removing it really wouldn’t effect the story at all.
