This Glycine GL0122, running on a Sellita SW200-1, has made it through almost 3 years of daily wear before a Sinn took its daily driver spot. Three years of abuse in the heavy construction industry. It’s getting a polish and full service of its movement.
To anyone looking for an affordable tool watch that will take anything you can throw at it, I got mine for $275 on eBay, and I’m spending more than that to prolong it’s life. That’s the single best product recommendation I can give.
Looks no-nonsense and tough, glad to hear it lives up to that. I don’t have a Glycine in my collection yet, this thread has convinced me to research.

They have moon phase models, open heart models, bronze finish models, dive watches, pilot watches and field watches. They have a long history and presence in some of the worlds most notable conflicts. They were purchased by Invicta unfortunately, but this appears to have only been a marketing move, and not much of the product ethos appears to have changed.
If you buy one, I don’t think it’ll let you down.
