Lifeline is in so I’m ready to try the fish lips kiss heel for the first time. If you’ve done this heel before I’d love to hear how it went.

Two at a time toe-up socks with a P1, K3 pattern across the top of the foot, yarn is Knit Picks Stroll Gradient in Storm

What did you think of the heel? I like the fit and look on the pair I’m doing right now. I thought it was neat to knit. I ended up with some gaps on the sides, just grabbed a few stitches to close them after the heel.

The general measurements in the pattern for toe up didn’t work for me (too long). I ended up ripping back and doing it shorter.

I haven’t started on them yet. I’ve been dealing with some brain fog and can’t seem to wrap my head around the instructions atm. Hopefully it’ll ease up soon, I’m excited to continue these socks and I know my spouse is excited for a new pair of socks.

Brain fog is the worst. :( Hope you feel better soon and get to turn the heels. That’s going to be a nice pair of socks.

Thanks! I was able to finish the heel last night, I ended up finding a video of someone doing the heel and it finally clicked for me. I think it may be my new favorite heel, it was so easy and quick (only done flap and gusset before). Unfortunately I think the sock is too long but I have to wait til my spouse gets home from work to double check.

Nice! I had to rip mine back and make it shorter, too. It was pretty quick the second time. :) Good luck with the rest of the sock.
