As much as I hate what YouTube has become, it disappearing would be a disaster for the Internet. So much content would be lost…
And not anyone can support the server ressources required to run YouTube.
Centralizing it into 1 entity is the entire issue.
That’s what federation aims to solve.
This is why we should cherish those who save things and maybe consider saving a bit ourselves.
