Just got this copper beauty in. Came with free diffusor, bought the better clip extra. EDC Perfection.

as I said… about the weight of an alu 18650 light… now I took my kitchen scale and checked…

copper TS10 weighs 98gram according to my kitchen scale. my alu FW3A weighs exactly the same! (both with cells)

a Zebra SC64 weighs 88g. Emisar D4 alu with stainless bezel weighs 120g, Alu Convoy T3 with 14500 is 74g - all with cells and clips.

regular TS10 with cell is about 50 gram

but the added weight just feels “nice and dense” in hand, not overly heavy. I dont notice the difference in the pocket. it makes a difference though when I clip it on my hat. my regular TS10 actually replaced my headlamp. I can still do it with the CU version, but I notice the difference.

Thanks so much for the weight comparisons, zzap. I’m now kicking myself for not noticing the copper TS10 when I ordered my alu one. (It’s very nice though, and I love it.)

Great tip on clipping it on a hat, thanks. Will try to emulate that.

        Thanks so much, zzap!

Agreed, 3000k option would be nice.

Browsed the link to the clip. What should I choose to get the black long clip please? I think choosing “black” then “suitable for TS10” would probably be the black short clip.

yes, this is confusing. if you choose “TS10” and “black”, you get the 2-way black clip I have on my light in the picture. I guess “silver” is the original clip, which is too short.

Oh, got it. They did indicate below that “the black TS10 clip is the latest and extended version”. I should get 2 then.

yes, get one for your Alu TS10 as well.

It is only 1$ and makes the light soooo much better. I ordered one extra just incase I break one or I might put it on another light

I got a free diffusor with my Copper TS10, you dont need to order these extra.

It is heavier. But since it is so small, the extra weight isnt much. I EDCed a stainless AA/14500 for many years. The little extra weight feels just right.

I would say weight is about the same as an alu 18650 light, but nicer to carry because it is so small. Feels great in the hand.

Sounds great! My silver color TS10 is just a few days old, and wasn’t aware of the copper one. Seriously thinking of getting one with 3000K haha.

you should. copper is fun because it is always changing. the 3000k looks great as well. I got mine for less than 30$. Absolutely worth it. I carried a silver one with 4000k and orange aux daily since the day it was released. TS10 is my fave light for sure.

By copper is always changing, do you mean the patina that develops?

Ordered a Sofirn HS10 because I didn’t have an angled light and a warm light. It’s still in China customs lol.

I’m practically stopping myself from ordering the copper TS10 right now. The orange aux sounds good with the copper?

yes, it gets that patina over time and dings and scratches just add character, but you can always “reset” and get it back to shiny if you want. (I usually just take a little ketchup and a cloth and wipe it and it will look almost like new)

orange is my fave aux color. all my TS10 have orange aux. I had red but red is dimmer, so I sold it. go for it :)

Patina is dope, plus I agree, scratches and dings on EDC gear do add character. Non-hobbyists probably won’t understand (especially collectors who just keep stuff in boxes). Thanks for the ketchup tip. Great to know we can make it “mainstream nice” again.

Alright, orange aux it is! My silver TS10 has red, BTW. Thanks zzap!

I don’t even notice the added weight in my pocket, but when I hold it, it’s heavy enough to know that I have something in my hand. It’s actually pleasant in a way that cannot be described.

Even though I loved the aluminum TS10’s enough to get four of them before copper was an option, I’ve barely touched the my aluminum ones since getting one in copper. It’s that nice. I won’t say that it’s better than sex, but it’s good enough that I’d have to think about it for a moment if asked to compare the two.

Haha! Very tempting. It’s good that the copper version is offered with 3000K CCT (is that the correct term?). Will consider getting one when my “hobby account” is no longer empty. I have too many hobbies. Sigh.

Hard to describe. Warmer rosy… peachy? Looks awesome. Just as good as a 3000k 219b.

congrats… do you have Opple Tint DUV measurement? or a side by side photo of the beam colors?

        Enjoy your Copper ;-)
