        Don’t fret, millions of people live like this, and there must be a reason their eating habits have bleed over their border.

        Reminds me of this sweet Italian lady I worked with. At noon she would go “let’s do the pasta” - it was The Pasta, not “some pasta” or “what about pasta?”. Noon was The Pasta time, period. Infinite variation of it, as long as it was Pasta.

          That has been the great thing about pizza, infinite combinations. I’ve been having pizza frequently, and it hasn’t been the same one twice.

          And, honestly, with moderation (sharing one pizza with my partner, and going easy on the cheese), and the addition of a good salad, pizza really is a pretty decent meal
