I don’t know why anyone would get in a tiny tunnel to be driven around in a Tesla. It doesn’t even sound worth it for the novelty. And it can’t even self-drive through a closed loop apparently.

That’s ignoring the fact that Tesla batteries, when they malfunction, are capable of making a fire most fire departments can’t handle and now it’s blocking your exit through a tube. This is a death trap waiting to happen

They are really sketchy about it too. Ther was thei incident in germany where a tesla burned out. When it finally extinguished it landed on a junkyard, and they send a tesla technician to disconnect the battery to make it “safe”. After that, no one was alloed to see the wrecked car anymore because telsa spend a pretty penny to the junkyard to just hide it somewhere.

To be fair, this isn’t just Tesla batteries, any lithium ion or lithium polymer battery will be har to put out.

Great. An even bigger problem than it just sounding generally unpleasant. Thanks, Elon. Can’t wait for the “hilarious” tweet when 12 people die in the tunnel fire.
