Red Wings sign J.T. Compher to five-year contract

DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings today signed left wing J.T. Compher to a five-year contract with an average annual value of $5.1 million.

Worst FA signing two years running with Chiarot and Compher.

Oof! As an Avalanche fan, it’s hard seeing JT go to Detroit. He did really well for us in our cup run but only as a 3rd line center. He couldn’t quite cut it as 2nd line this season.
