Started playing Chrono Trigger, only a few hours in but I can see why people consider it a classic

I’ve just been playing killing floor (1), some Minecraft, and dusted off KF2 last night to get straight up stomped.

Just straight vanilla survival. Really nice once you get elytra. I really just enjoy mining for resources and such so find the whole game quite enjoyable. I use it to shut my brain off and it works great for that purpose

I started playing X4: Foundations. A cool space sim ive been thinking about getting for a while but finally bit the bullet during the steam sale! Put a few hours into it so far and I’m really enjoying it. I was a little lost at first but after follwing a few missions im starting to get the hang of it! I have a freighter with its own pilot doing some basic trades in a system being escorted by a little fighter while im off doing my own thing. Cant wait to see where the game takes me

Well, alpha 21 for 7 Days to Die dropped a week or so ago, so a few friends and I have been doing another run through of that. Worth coming back if you haven’t played in a while.

I played the demo for that a while back, it’s a fun little roguelike. Picked up the full release+dlc (cosmetic) for $20 on steam. Not bad for a game I’ll sink a dozen or so hours into. Doesn’t have the most complexity or difficulty (sword dome is a pain at the start of a run, however), but I appreciate it for what it is.

I’ve really gotten back into playing my switch. Haven’t had much time to sit down and game lately so been playing a little before bed. Right playing Pokémon Violet and Mario Bros.

Started playing Spirit of the North on the Switch. You’re a fox going through some things, solving puzzles, and finding what I assume are some sort of collectible? There’s a dedicated bark button and a tail wag/interact button.

Started teardown this weekend. Really great voxel game with emphasis on destruction physics. The campaign turns it into a heist type game, where you have to figure out a way to get a lot of stuff to a particular space with 1 minute. It’s a great loop of thinking about how to do it, preparing with all the destruction tools at your disposal, and then executing the plan faster and faster until you succeed. It has the structure of hotline miami that way. It also has creative mode and a lot of great mods. It’s on sale for $22.50 during the steam sale as well, recommend it.

Dave the Diver! While I’m usually a Doom, RDR2, D4, Jedi Survivor kind of player, there’s something I love about the more casual games done well(i.e. Stardew Valley) that I can’t get enough of. You play as an overweight diver who gets invited to help run a shushi shop near a mysterious blue hole that contains fish from all around the world. Your job is to catch fish to then prep and sell at your sushi shop.

There’s an overarching story that unfolds the more you explore and upgrade. The pixel graphics and cutscenes are simple and charming. It’s the kind of relaxing game that’s perfect for a rainy/lazy day.

Going back to finish Jedi: Survivor now that I’m done with Final Fantasy XVI. Plan on getting the Platinum trophy in FFXVI, but wanted to wrap up Jedi: Survivor first!

Guess I’m starting an All the Mods 8 playthrough. It’s a long wait until August and September where I’ll actually have things to play.

I’ve been playing more Wild Hearts with friends. My personal goal is to beat all of the deeply volatile monsters (endgame challenge fights) with all weapons, which means making a build for each of the 8 weapons from scratch. Aside from the performance issues some players are having, it’s genuinely a very fun game and there’s always something to work towards even after 200h.
