    I’ll probably never be on the Pro Tour myself, but if nothing else, it’s psychologically important to me to know that LGS tournaments or ranked play on Arena aren’t all there is. That they go somewhere, and that some of the people whom I play against in those events might be aspiring to the Pro Tour.

      @Evu @MysticKetchup it’s also really nice to occasionally beat someone who did well at a PT. Or even lose to them. Some of the most memorable matches are those. Beating pros in an FNM draft, losing to pros in GP rounds, winning a draft against locals who have been to many PTs.

      It creates memories that keep players engaged. And in ways that playing against those same players, but not knowing they are that calibre, wouldn’t.
