uUpvote if you prefer apple, downvote if you prefer Android. Also, leave a comment saying what phone you have and why you prefer that phone.
A better approach to this would be to leave two comments, the voting effects how many people see the post.
Anyway i use a custom ROM Pixel 4a 5G
I’am Team Android and thinking about switching to LineageOS because I don’t like giving to mutch power to Google over my live (or other big companies).
the Smartphone I use is a SHIFT6mq it has similar philosophy to the Fairphone products but I think there look and feel better.
Recap: independence, Fairness and repairability
I don’t prefer either.
I usually go with what’s affordable, and that hasn’t been an iPhone so far.
iPhone 14. iPhone because it’s simple with no bloatware
I prefer Android but with all the recent changes they’re starting to lose me.
I think the voting should be done with pinned comments (vote creation bot anyone?). Also users on instances with disabled downvotes can’t see poll results correctly
Well sucks to not have Jeroba lol
Also the community description said like to agree, and downvote to disagree. I’m just going with what was given.
I can’t downvote. I prefer Android because I like Foss apps, since they don’t have ads or bombard me with subscriptions to sign up for. I do have an iPad, and experience of finding a paid app was hard, since I kept running into subscriptions. Coming from Android was pretty surprised how predatory Apple apps came off to me with their monetization.
Even just comparing past reddit apps. Like on Android I never had pop ups begging me to sign up for a subscription after I already bought the app. Side loading can’t come soon enough, and hopefully with that a F-droid app repository equivalent, and growing Foss community for Apple devices.
I prefer android because it is less restrictive and cheaper, simple as!
I personally use Android but wouldn’t mind trying a iPhone if I could afford it.
I have a oneplus 8 with a custom rom and will be getting a pixel to put grapheneOS on because that’s the only way to get a phone that’s usable and respects your privacy.
I was team Android for the longest time.
But over the years Apple closed down the gap really well and added a lot of missing stuff.
Been using an iPhone the past 4 years now.
I’m using the Galaxy fold 5 at the moment. I’ve had them since the second one and they are simply productivity monsters. Having the screen realistate when I need it but the front screen when I don’t is perfect for what I want.
