Queer transfem into tech, games and anime
Thanks for the post. I’ve been wanting to try matrix for a while, but didn’t know where to start.
The original webnovel is 552 chapters, the Webtoons adaptation is about a third of the way through it at 200+ episodes, and these aren’t short. I wonder what pacing they will go with. I think up through the 4th scenario at episode ~70 of the webtoon is a good stopping point, but that might be too fast and end up incoherent.
Yeah, I can only assume it will be a very limited release.
Maybe they held it off to not spoil them losing Falin again and the confirmation of the mad mage as the dark elf, that happened this episode. Let’s see if they change it next time.
It’s funny, I enjoyed the demons in Frieren because they weren’t just humans of a different skin color but felt truly alien. They are not evil, they don’t enjoy killing, they just do. I think there is going to be something to understand about them that we are not going to get until we get the flashback to the Demon King, which I assume will be at the end of the series.
I think what made her extra happy, was Fern being confident enough to suggest that, rather than Frieren asking her to do it.
I’ve been waiting for her since she is so on display in the ending. The season is almost over and now it seems like she’ll be a main character.
This section killed me. Sums up my entire high school experience, even though I did not come out until almost 30.
“Even Sam herself starts to wonder if she’s a gay man, because it would definitely explain the queerness she feels all the time. It would also explain why she feels a kinship to the gay community, even though she’s not gay herself. Alas, she was a boy who exclusively liked girls — it didn’t get much more hetero than that.”
That spell Frieren used to break the barrier looked like it veered into sci-fi territory. It was a cool effect.
Yeah those wolves were hard to look at. Though usually bad CGI like that just means there is a complete lack of budget rather than them saving it for something later. I think the only thing we can expect from the series later is more terrible CGI monsters. I’m glad action is not the hook of the show.
I’m watching blind and I had no idea its this short. That’s cool, I love a good short story.
All things considered, that huge display of power went better for her than I expected. Rather than turn the country against her in fear, they roll out the red carpet.
How are they making Yumellia’s cold calculating self so adorable and funny? This show is better than I expected.
If in the game she’s the hidden boss that requires a max level team to beat does that mean what she did is canon? I mean, Yumelia had to have gotten strong somehow in game too.
This is great news. I was ready to give up on a second season happening and read the manga.
It might just be the first sentence. He focuses on his appearance, so Frieren is more likely to remember what he looked like because it was part of his character traits.
Oh nice. I know nothing of the source and had no idea how hyped for this I should be.
Such a shame to see Sein leave. I look forward to what the payoff of Gorilla’s story is going to end up being wherever the group meets up with Sein again.
I look forward to meeting a brand new and colorful cast of characters at this kingdom, learning their goals and dreams and then having them die in 0.5 seconds when they try to fight any of our protagonists.
Very excited this is happening, but also sad Bocchi season 2 noises.
