Eh. 1.1 made it as easy as running a command on both machines (A lot like how Tailscale does it)

It’s a shame Tinc hasn’t had a release, because 1.1 made it much easier to set up, and is what I used before switching to Headscale. I’d actually go back to it if 1.1 got officially released =P

Believe it or not, since the last patch where it got the damage buff, it’s great on bots now. I use it to clear groups of heavy devastators and scout striders. The most I killed with one airburst is probably around 12 heavy devastators =P

Until recently, that “support” had been a barely supported forks of the linux kernel that were barely updated, and was so locked down that custom rom support was a pipedream on snapdragon processors. Which to be fair, is par for the course on most ARM chipsets (It’s the reason you see a lot of custom roms for android have extremely old and outdated kernels)

I’m glad to see more ARM companies moving towards working with upstream projects, and not just making working on their stuff a PITA to protect “Trade Secrets” or some bullshit like that.

Flamethrowers can be pretty good at choke points, but it’s situational

EAT is great against bots, especially on the heavy units like the Tank, Gunships, and Hulks

With the recent patch, primaries are actually able to deal with the light and medium armor guys now, so no more wasting EATs on Heavy Devastators too! (I just shoot their gun off with my primary)

On the bot front, it’s this, but with gunships instead of bile titans lmao

I was originally fine with the beeline to extract, if a bit peeved. What made me go “Get the fuck outta here” was the fact they extracted without me despite being RIGHT next to extract at the radar station. It’s not like I was across the map. They could’ve easily have waited 1 more minute, and they weren’t even being overwhelmed.

That kind of lack of cooperation is just unacceptable in my opinion.

I have push-to-talk on, so it shows the icon when I hold down the talk button. So I never knew until now =P

I’ve had that happen to me before too, that shit sucks. It’s like, thanks for wasting 40 minutes of my life, asshole host =/

I think more in-game messages would also help a lot. Like how you can say Thank You, or Sorry using the social wheel. Something like “Hold off on extraction”

In theory, you could make a fake executable with the mkv file extension on a unix system, by making it a shell script with a bunch of garbage data at the end, marking it executable, and distributing it with a tarball. But the chances someone will do that is insanely low.

Also it has caveats:

1. It’d rely on your double clicking it, and having your file manager not warning you about it.
2. Video players wouldn’t run the shell script code, if it’d run the file at all.
