God I love trains
https://www.aljazeera.com/features/2024/9/13/could-marxist-anura-dissanayake-become-sri-lankas-next-president People who are familiar with Sri Lanka, what do you think of this? Is this party promising? Are they really Marxists?
Now that I think of it, HK-SC-012 might be a good descriptor. Of course I have no idea what it refers to but I’m going by instinct here
I have bet a box of chocolates on a Trump victory in 2020; I don’t want to lose any more chocolates. This is the extent of my thoughts on the election (I am not a Burgerlandian)
I’m First Lady Enby
My German friend’s late father was obsessed with China and had tons of Chinese stuff, and she didn’t know what to so with them so she let me look if something caught my eye, and this surely did. I’m afraid I have no idea where you’d find some of these.
I’m glad I didn’t have to move my train journey too, that would have been a shitty way to end the trip
Today is my least full day in Germany and the last day of my holiday too. Tomorrow, I’m back home in France, and preparing for uni which starts next week. It will have been a fun trip, and surprisingly not much ever got wrong: not bad for my first true solo trip!
Fantastique!
Well I am indeed actively refusing to drink, under normal circumstances (there isn’t really a deep reason why, I just don’t like to be drunk, and especially since I get drunk quite easily I prefer to just never drink alcohol); this time was an exception given the situation, it felt awkward to refuse when I couldn’t even speak Russian to explain why, and I found the whole thing so absurd that it felt more funny than anything to give in that one time.
Funnily enough this isn’t the only time I’ve “had to” invest alcohol on this trip: yesterday I was eating in Limburg, Germany, and I wanted an Apfelschorle but I instead recieved cider, which I only realised once I had ingested some because it basically is the same thing but with a bit of alcohol. But since it was “just” cider, the shame of going back and explaining in my broken German that I wanted something else got the better of me. Maybe I would’ve said it if I didn’t drink at the Russian border a few weeks before. First as a tragedy, second as a farce…
Once I’m back in France I’m going back to my normal dogmatism on the matter.
German praxis???
don’t mind me, I’m just here for the ExistentialComics page
Nihilist store robbed a gunpoint, but nothing of value was stolen
I can’t
“Policy plunko”
Look at the result at the bottom
“Blue state”
Why did I expect there to be policies listed there? Then again, I guess landing on “murdering thousands of children in possibly the most horrible genocide of this century so far” wouldn’t fit the “yassss qweeen” theme
Yesterday I took three trains. On the one hand, TRAINS!!! On the other hand, I was in and out of trains for 12 HOURS
Oh it seems I have talked to too many Grover Furr-pilled comrades then.
The Katyn massacre is the one where the nazis “”“found”“” tens of thousands of dead Poles during operation Barbarosa and said it was the Soviets because reasons and now several countries teach the nazis’ story as fact.
Edits: it seems I was wrong and the Soviets did commit it, see other comrades’ comments.
they had the gaul to call a massacre perpetrated by the nazis as “the nazis’ Katyn”… EXCUSE ME WHAT
This Is Not This Is Not a Pipe
Now where could my pipe be?
…POLAND?!
Also this museum was filled with “Nazi-Soviet alliance” propaganda, everywhere. Which I guess is normal because it’s Poland. Still a good museum with pretty good exhibits, but it kind of got on my nerves after the 50th time of equating the Soviets with the barbaric ideology that wanted to eliminate their entire people. The Victory Museum in Moscow was better though.
