I often thought maybe weekend’s subtracted. Only in my late 20s I learned that there are places where the first day of the week is Sunday lol
I couldn’t find any statistics about the frequency of spam calls in Germany, so I can only share my personal experience. I have never received a single one since having my own number. My parents got more when their number could still be found in the public phone book (yes, that is/was a thing). Friends complain maybe twice a year.

No, it’s because there is no electoral threshold for EU elections in Germany. Every party with enough votes for a seat gets that seat (which is projected to be around 0.5% but depends on the total number of voters). Unfortunately, this is the last election without a threshold in Germany

I had a similar exercise during rehab from surgery e few years ago, walking through chest-high water but in a swimming pool. I like your optimism. But I’ve seen too many people still buying products from questionable manufacturers in full knowledge of the issues and with alternatives available.
Unfortunately, stuff like this doesn’t seem to influence buyers’ decision making.
