If we wanted Reddit content that badly we’d still be on Reddit.
Idk why you personally are here, but many migrants (myself included) did NOT leave reddit because we dislike reddit’s content; we left because the site is controlled an unaccountable Elon/Zuck wannabe whose every decision the last decade has made the site worse. Getting reddit’s content (or something close to it) without contributing clicks to Spez’s dreams of a big payday is EXACTLY why I’m here.
Out of curiosity, what Lemmy instances should I be searching up if I DO want reddit reposts in my feed? I haven’t been seeing many myself.
Yeah, that’s definitely a plot point that I’ve had to file under “Just don’t think about it.” It’s totally unjustifiable logically, so I don’t bother trying.
As much as the Yosuga no Sora fan in me would love it to be otherwise, I’m pretty sure Ruby’s romantic feelings for the doctor will vanish in an instant if she ever learns his current identity.
I mean a good portion of us aren’t leaving reddit because we dislike reddit’s content or userbase. We left to get away from the abusive admins. If we can smuggle the community and content in our coat pockets on our way out the door, that’s just stealing back what is rightfully ours to begin with.
Eh, it’s one of the most popular anime of the season and is almost universally acclaimed, I wouldn’t call that “underrated.” Wouldn’t mind it being AoT-level popular so I could talk about it with normie non-anime-fan friends, I suppose, but that’s a big ask for a (supposed) idol series.

Today’s MVP: Aqua’s tracksuit, which evidently makes a beanpole like Aqua look believable as a professional bodybuilder. In other Pieyon-related news, Takeo Ootsuka is the second VA to perfectly imitate another character’s performance in this show; I certainly wouldn’t have suspected he wasn’t Pieyon from the voice alone…!
It’s funny that such a huge proportion of anime are set in high school, yet so few of them have characters that actually feel like teenagers. This is one of those shows that actually manages it, which makes it equal parts charming and melancholic. This is our daily reminder that we missed out on adolescent friendship and now it’s gone forever! Thanks a lot Skip and Loafer!

After Dobbs I legit expected SCOTUS to go full speed ahead turning America into a Christofascist autocracy, but it seems like they’re content to just uphold the status quo outside of that one specific issue. Maybe my standards are dangerously low but it’s nice to know we’re not on the actual worst timeline right now.
