It’s hard to believe there is any good reason for that camera to not be functional if the phone is in good condition. I worry it’s indicative of a bad drop and other problems down the road.

I dunno, I got the iPhone Pro 13 and it’s the heaviest phone I’ve ever owned. I still dislike the weight after a little over a year now. But you get bothered by it less over time. It’ll be nice if they get lighter eventually.

My partner who just bought that SE last month said they’ll be dead and buried before they give up their home button.
