It’s so much smaller in reality than it appears in photos. Like, barely SUV sized. I’m not advocating for large vehicles, but if you’re so car brained that you want to get a truck, you wouldn’t want the clown car version. Really a who is this for? scenario

Based AMCA enjoyer. I don’t get the hate for the acolyte either and I agree that fine is the way to describe it. Much like a lot of star wars, there are a lot of interesting things floating around in the background that will not get the show’s focus like I would want. Meanwhile, the main mystery could be alright depending on how it casts the Jedi at the end of it all, but I’m expecting they’ll fumble it. (I haven’t seen the most recent episode yet, so it may have already gone off the rails for all I know)

Damn, it’s hella sick that ancient tree and dinosaur goo turned out to be a madness rune hidden underground just waiting for our dumb asses. Real rad that humanity as a species just speedran our way to Moderan in just a couple hundred years.

It’s the same thing with the internet. ‘Be careful of what you post online’, ‘Don’t believe everything you read’ were told to me repeatedly by my father and I took it seriously. Now I know that it was only because of a vague distrust of the internet that eased with time, rather than an actual understanding and respect for infosec, as now he puts his whole life on Facebook and guzzles from the insane right wing propaganda hoze he and all his boomer buddies hooked themselves up to.

I played the GBA sequel, The Knight of Lodis, and that game blew my mind as a kid. It was also very difficult for me; I was only able to finish it because a neighborhood kid let me use his action replay to max out my units’ stats. Even then, 10/10, it whips.

I have yet to play the original despite owning it for both PSP and on steam. It’s a game that I want to play, but the length and just general effort involved in reading through class skills and stats are daunting for me with my limited free-time these days. I’ve been playing Pillars of Eternity lately, so maybe I’m getting back in the mood for heavier investment, slower burn kind of gaming experiences.

I’ve been playing Pillars of Eternity. Still early going, so I don’t have a feel for the overarching plot just yet, but I’m enjoying learning about the world and finding new party members.
