As a completely disinterested neutral who loves to see pain and anguish, I’m rooting for a 12-10 Bears victory.

You can say the refs suck, and they often do. And the law of averages means that they often suck in ways that favor this-or-that team. But the whole “rigged” discourse is so laughably stupid.
Unpopular opinion. I know the rule, but PI on the egregiously, deliberately underthrown ball should NOT be illegal. My god, Flacco literally made a career doing this.
Sitting in the bank. Great football weather. Amazing atmosphere! Let’s Goooooo!!!
Pretend it is 2021. Go through the comments in this thread and when you see “Bryce Young” replace with “Trevor Lawrence.” The criticism and cocksure conclusions are identical in both form and content. It’s deja vu for me.
“But … but … but what about Stroud?” Shit, all we heard in 2021 was “What about Justin Fields / Mac Jones, etc.” It’s deja vu for me.
Maybe Young will work out and maybe he won’t, but it is entirely too early to draw any conclusion. At least Herbstreit knows this.
This is hard on Eagles fans because half of all Eagles fans have been Eagles fans for less than two years.
