I’m having similar issues every once in a while after coming from sleep. It’s just a software bug. Usually closing and opening lid again after couple seconds or restarting Mac is working. So far I haven’t seen any other hardware related issues. You can sleep just fine 😉
When you’re closing lid your Mac is going into standby mode. It’s perfectly fine, you don’t need to turn it off completely with every time. MacOS is doing also some maintenance while sleeping.
M1 with more RAM and memory, all day everyday
We don’t know! Every battery in every single phone is different. It’s impossible to tell and if someone is telling you otherwise he don’t know what he’s talking about.
Unfortunately no. I’m never using Stage Manager.
There is also another alternative to Alfred - Raycast
My personal essentials:
Wipr - simple adblock for Safari (MacOS/iOS)
AlDente - useful if you’re keeping your Mac under charger for a longer time. MacOS has very similar feature build in but it may not work if you’re randomly plugging in and out your charger.
Rectangle - free tool for very quick windows management, snapping etc.
Keka - great software for compressing and decompressing .rar files and other compressed formats.
OnyX - great free software for performing overall maintenance in your system
AppCleaner - uninstall programs and delete leftover files
FlipClock - basic screen saver with a clock
Amphetamine - keeping your Mac awake, useful for longer tasks when doing them overnight etc.
I think that some of you guys are popping champagnes way too fast. First wait and see how actually Apple implemented it 😉
