I’ve started asking people “do you have any independently verified statistics to back that up?” and when they start justifying why the answer is no or trying to say anything other than “yes and here they are” I just hit the with “So no, then. The answer is ‘no I don’t have anything that backs up what I’m saying in reality’” and usually that shuts them up because they don’t rant to talk to me anymore. Which is fine by me. It’s usually in-laws.

I love the first one. It’s great. Sets up so much possibility that you get to imagine: how did vampires and werewolves behave and hide throughout time, how do they plan on staying hidden without dying out, what’s next after the hybrids… The action is perfect, the fights are fast paced but easily followed. The romantic bits feel a bit forced but not off-puttingly so, more just unnecessary I feel but I’m sure plenty enjoy it.

The sequels are fun, too. I generally don’t watch them after I finish the first one. Just not my favorites. Same thing with John Wick.

I can’t wait to take my ebike out. My wife and I managed to get a couple suburb rides in while my truck was busted, but then it got too cold for her and too snowy for me, but once it’s warm and dry enough we are heading to the nearest trail.

You know, it would be real cool if everyone just decided to ignore him and keep cooperating with the world.

I have noticed that I get less motion sick in some games on my new 240hz screen, but unfortunately I still get it.

That said, I’m unsure what my actual fps is in Doom/E but I’d wager somewhere around 100.
