I feel like 4306 units sold in one quarter is still quite a lot all things considered.

Wouldn’t put it past google to say “all or nothing” tho.
ThunderComplex@lemmy.todayto Anime@ani.social•CITY THE ANIMATION - Episode 2 discussionEnglish2·2 days agoSo after the episode last week I’ve been watching a few nichijou memes (sadly it’s not streaming here so that’s all I can do) and OMG the shrine is that shrine from when the 3 girls were sitting in the rain in nichijou right?
Also is it just me or is that one poster in the magazine studio suspiciously similar to the art style used in “Hai Yorokonde”? (could also be a common art style that I am just not aware of but that was my first thought).

ThunderComplex@lemmy.todayto Star Wars Memes@lemmy.world•Which chair you sittin in?English14·9 days agoThey all have cons that make it hard to pick a winner. Would pick the left one of those 3 tho.
Right one has bad arm rests and a weird extruded platform that makes getting up harder than the other 2.
Middle one has basically no arm rests and back support. Would prolly work better as a barstool than a living room chair.
Left one seems the best but the sharp edges are gonna drive into your legs over time, making prolonged sitting sessions uncomfortable.

Funnily enough I’ve seen that dogs scene before. I just kinda assumed City was some kind of sequel or something.
ThunderComplex@lemmy.todayto Anime@ani.social•CITY THE ANIMATION - Episode 1 discussionEnglish2·9 days agoSaw this in my feed and decided to give it a try. I’m not a huge anime watcher and only kinda know of nichijou because of a meme (good morning evernyan! Oh my gah!) but so far I’m really digging this. I don’t get the connection tho??
The art style is really cool and I was kinda shocked because I’ve never seen anime try to emulate depth of field like this before.
Definitely going to upgrade to a more heat resilient briefcase for my ramen needs tho.
Why does this look like Hyper Demon gameplay?
Ich dachte das bezieht sich auf die 28

Although weirdly all of the $80 games that released so far have been pretty bad so that’s strange.
ThunderComplex@lemmy.todayto [Moved to Piefed] Television@lemm.ee•Tina Fey Embraced “the Sandler Model” for New Show ‘The Four Seasons’: “Actors in Nice Locations, Wearing Flat Shoes”English1·2 months agoJust finished watching it. Immediately gave it a shot because of Tina Fey’s involvement but there are a few other actors that I also love so it should have had a lot going for it (from my perspective).
But wow, I did not like it. There were a few moments where I laughed out loud in the first episode but I didn’t laugh for the remaining 7 episodes.
The story was also really meh. For me it was just watching a friend group doing things with little to no connective tissue. Which… yeah, I get that it’s two episodes per season which is the whole gimmick of the show. But I couldn’t get invested in any of the characters or their lives because all the important stuff happens in the months that are off-screen.
Unsolicited mini-review over hehe
Wär noch geiler gewesen wenn die Szene käm wo Glööökler die Tasse wirft weil man ihn nicht ausreden lässt.

It has a relatively low skill floor but also a really high skill ceiling. Go watch some stunt clips to see just what you can pull off.
The different sports are a lot of fun and honestly what other game lets you transition from Skateboard to BMX to Jetpack in a span of a few seconds.
Only downside is that the more fun sports are locked behind a DLC purchase but it goes on sale quite frequently.
I am so surprised by the panels falling off; I thought Elmer’s glue was supposed to be pretty good.
