Gas is the big one. I don’t hear as much complaining about food where I am.

Cognitive dissonance - They’ll find some way to blame it on Biden/Harris/Newsom/Pelosi.
I heard about the President being billed for services in an interview with Laura Bush.
We’re going to see how that plays in Congress. Way too many special interests.
I wish I knew someone who was disappointed. The only two people in my life that aren’t Trumpers are my daughter and her fiance. Everyone else thinks that gas will get back to $1/gallon and food prices will return to pre Covid levels on Jan 21.
So the short answer is no?
I’ll read the article if it’s not behind a paywall. I often don’t finish them because most articles are poorly written.
The only way we watched is on my wife’s Ipad and it was because we weren’t watching live. We were about 10 minutes behind the live stream. I tried to join on my Google TV and Netflix would crash.
Best summary I’ve read.
That’s exactly what’s going on. He only wants yes men.
Comments have been bad for a while. I’ve left three Facebook groups since the election because of hard right unrelated posts and comments. I’m pretty sure it’s due to bots but interesting technical groups became cesspools in less than 24 hours. It reminded me of the end of Usenet.
I don’t know about YouTube but my Facebook feed took a hard right turn late that night.
What were they expecting? He showed everyone who he was and they still voted for him.
I agree. Although I’m never really sure in these situations.
I never tweeted myself but I liked to follow a couple of local news outlets and out local government agencies for public notices and emergencies. I gave up when stuff from Elon and a bunch of right wing stuff populated my feed. I rarely saw anything of interest. I started using Facebook for that. At least the local stuff pops up in addition to the crazy stuff.
I’ve been seeing this kind of stuff for the last month. Of course most of my friends and family think Donald Trump is the annoited one.
I’m guessing it’s somewhere along the lines of “give Putin what he wants and be grateful”. It also wouldn’t surprise me if Zelensky isn’t exiled or missing sometime next year. I hate it but I’ve lost all faith.
Definitely an interesting thought experiment. It will be interesting to see if the tariffs actually happen how they will impact the economy. I work in telecommunications and most of the equipment we use is manufactured in China, regardless of the supplier. Any tariffs will impact about 70% or the material we use for projects.
I look for Trump to turn on everyone. It’s the only thing he’s consistently done his entire life.
Biden will be taking the blame for all the problems over the next couple of years.
