That’s why I am suggesting things like Biodiesel because I know cars aren’t going away everywhere. I also know diesel trains aren’t going anywhere for at least a decade, hence why I also suggest biofuels here too.

If you want a new car that’s good for the environment, buy a second hand diesel then use it with biofuel. You can buy or make biodiesel yourself. Some engines can run straight vegetable oil too or can be converted to do so. This is handy because vegetable oil can be bought from any super market and many businesses throw away used oil that cane be reused for running a car.

Because so far I understood that for example the sex can be female, and so can the gender. But what sense does it make to have female gender? There is just a human in your head.

But then again… how important is this belief? And why are people claiming that there are more than two genders? Because of gender refers to sex, then what is going on there?

Their are neurological and therefore psychological differences between people of different genders. These are normally aligned with their physical sex and hormones. When there is a misalignment between gender and sex that’s what trans people are. It’s not belief, it’s brain structure.

The reasons you say environmentalists don’t like biodiesel seem relevant although I can’t weigh the environmental impact of those chemicals.

I am talking about why governments and environmentists dislike fossil diesel, not biodiesel. Though they also apply to biodiesel it’s worth it not to contribute to climate change.

I don’t think it’s possible. You would replace the engine. Still easier than replacing an ICE with an electric drive train.

We have reached the point in this discussion where it’s being said cars are still required for some people. I am trying to say how they can be made more environmentally friendly besides electric cars which are horrific to produce.

Electric trains don’t use batteries like electric cars use. Don’t know where you are getting this idea from. They take power from the grid via electrified railway.

Lots of trains run on diesel though. For these I think Biodiesel is also a good idea rather than trying to replace every single one. This is more for railcars than locamotives though, since all locamotives are electric anyway. Diesel locomotives have electric motors and drive train powered by a diesel generator; these are called diesel electric trains.

The issue with this is that electric car batteries cause lots of damage to the environment in their production. Manufacturing any new car is environmentally destructive. You may want to reconsider buying a new car if it’s just for environmental reasons as you may be doing more harm than good.

If you can convert it to run on biofuel that’s potentially a better option. This is easier if it’s a diesel vehicle and diesel engines are inherently more efficient to begin with. The reason environmentalists don’t like them is to do with nitrous oxides and carbon particles rather than carbon dioxide emissions.

Neurological differences between men and women aren’t socially constructed any more than racial characteristics are. You should read up on the neurology of trans and cis people.

They are talking about things like Androgen Insensitively Syndrome where XY people are born with female anatomy. This is because the chromosome dosen’t determine gentials but rather the hormones that chromesome creates. In the case of Androgen Insensitivity the body dosen’t respond to male hormones so develops female gentials despite having male chromesomes because female is the default. Weiredly enough though the gonads are still male.

Nope not even display size can save this, as you need to sit some distance to see the whole thing, unless you only want to look at a portion. The human eye has a finite effective resolution.

VR it could maybe make a difference, even then 8K is good compared to most modern VR devices.

What have I said is actually questionable? 8K is already beyond the limit of what a human can see at any practical viewing distance. Super high end film might beat it in equivalent resolution, but at that point it’s purely academic because you’re eyes can’t see that much detail.

Unless you want to blow up a small portion of the image to poster size… then I am sure IMAX film is better. Just not sure why you would want that.

Meanwhile in framerate you can see a fairly large difference between the two technologies.

In all fairness you could fit a small helicopter in their if you wanted too. The 747 Freighters are used to move plane parts and they even based the dreamlifter off of it!

We have such a thing as an 8K camera. It’s kinda hard to beat an 8K camera. Especially given film has a very low frame rate, so you’re trading one kind of quality for another.

8K is basically more pixels than your ever going to need unless you like staring at a tiny portion of the screen. 24 FPS (films normal FPS fyi) on the other hand is very noticeably different from 60 FPS, nevermind the 120+ FPS some cameras can do.

The reason we have these cameras is partly so we can crop and still get a usable 4K or 6K image.

As for compression we have true lossless and visually lossless formats that are used on professional video cameras. This includes Red Raw.
