When I first watched RotS I thought that Sidious was only disguised as Palpatine (as in kill-and-replace) and the electrocution had just destroyed the disguise.

A large amount of people here in Brazil would rather burn the forests to turn into profitable cattle pastures than “waste” time and money studying some insect.
Since it shows the global distribution, an interesting curiosity: some years ago there was the first and only recorded hurricane in the South Atlantic, named Catarina after it hit my state of Santa Catarina in Brazil.
Since “hurricanes don’t happen in the South Atlantic”, Brazilian meteorologists were sort of ignoring the threat until the USians started calling to warn.

16·11 days agoI know here in Brazil there’s a minimum speed limit on highways of 50% the max, but there are no signs, and it doesn’t apply in heavy traffic.
41·13 days agoI’m of the opinion that “AI” generated images can be art, but the art is in a real person selecting and giving meaning to it, not in the process the image came to be.
Not just that, but IIRC the very first person to be diagnosed as autistic is still alive.

LLMs and image diffusion? Yes, but these are just high coherence media transformers.
Dune is more fantasy than Star Wars and many consider it one of the best sci-fi of all times.
At least it’s the “only” editor that handles tabs correctly. Tabs are to go to the next tabstop, not advance a fixed amount.
Static types are great, but not exactly what would have helped here, any decent language or at least a linter should catch the use of a not declared identifier.

Concave shape vs convex shape
As a C# programmer, I like to make desktop GUIs with WPF or Avalonia. Web is also possible with asp.net, but I don’t like it as much.
Would be cool if these were still today’s national borders.
