Exactly. My forefathers left the Netherlands because the government was trying to tell them how to worship God. Now many of their descendants are trying to tell people how to worship God.

They’re “getting by” living like our rich neighbors did when I was a kid. Compared to our “middle class” life 50 years ago, middle class now is a life style we could only dream about.

I understand how “the economy” is a term that is open to interpretation and its current health can be debated. But the last two points of the original three are pretty straightforward and yet a challenge for many people.
They not only “do nothing about it”, most of them join in the wrong as they get older. I think it basically comes down to greed and jealousy. Not sure anyone can fix that.

Most interesting to me is that these pissed off folks think this is something new. I remember feeling this way in 1968. And as you get older and realize you’re dying, guess what. You have to go through the stages of grief again.
