‘It Is No Measure of Health To Be Well-Adjusted to a Profoundly Sick Society’
I will definitely look into it. Thank you.
If I lower my standards a little bit, I might get a job. But, the issue is that most programming jobs make me miserable. So, here the trade-off is whether I should work a terrible job, make money and be miserable or not work at all and be miserable. A handful of jobs, that I am actually interested in, are not willing to hire me. So, I am left with basically no choice. I would have a lot more opportunities in the West, especially US, compared to India. But, well, you know what went wrong with that.
I guess I love to live on the edge, then.
I don’t have a job for more than 2 years. I am struggling with feelings of uselessness. I am a|so struggling with loneliness.
It does help. Talking about things do help.
I have 3 nephews. I can imagine what it must be like being a parent. I have seen my sisters dealing with their kids. It’s not easy.
Dark Souls is set in a rather interesting world, even if it is dying and decaying. However, I simply don’t have the patience for it. My life is already hard, as it is. I don’t need my games to be hard too.
And that’s how, free speech dies.
The world it is set in is rather incredible. Of course, it is pretty difficult too, which is inline with the themes of the game. The world is dying and decaying and game is about trying to fix it.
RDR2 is an incredible game. Well worth a playthrough. You can use a program called WeMod to use cheats, and it won’t cause issues with no being able to save, etc.
I used to. I haven’t used my account in years now.
I love story-rich games. Games like The Witcher 3, Skyrim, etc. Recently, I finished Hollow Knight. I cheated to actually be able play it. I wanted to experience the world and the story, but don’t want to deal with the difficulty.
More expensive hardware for shittier graphics. Got it.
I heard good things about Project Hail Mary. I will add it to my evergrowing TBR. :(
I loved this book called Tao The Watercourse Way by Alan Watts. It is a lovely intro to taoism.
Yeah. I am really liking Siddhartha so far. I learnt not to touch the series that is complete, from TV shows. Either, they get cancelled or the quality dips pretty drastically. So, I learnt to wait till the end.
Cars and freeway cause chaos for ducks. FTFY.
While windows users, just open their windows.
Most kinds. Mostly, I love fantasy books. Currently, I am reading Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. I am holding out on reading Rage of Dragons, until the series is complete. I am intrigued by it’s Africa-inspired world and myth.
Reading and gaming, mostly. I also like programming and I work on projects.
I want this hype to die. LLMs are not AI. Big Tech is making or rather, trying to make a fool out of everyone.
