Not that this was a real answer to my comment but by your criteria, was there ever a genocide? US did a lot to unexist the indigenous peoples (boarding schools count as well by the way because that also eliminates the cultural identity) but they still exist and so it was no genocide or did they try and didn’tsucceed? Neither was the Shoa? Or the nazis didn’t have the time? And the Israeli state could have be done by now but the fact that the genocide is still going on is proof that there is no intent to be faster?

Believe it or not but the word “genocide” does have a meaning and different definitions for sure which doesn’t make it arbitrary. If the accusation was far fetched, the case brought forth by South Africa, I’m sure you heard of, would just have been dismissed.

But if it were a genocide neither I nor any Palestinians in Gaza would still be alive.

You think genocide means that the whole populations is killed? As said, there are different definitions of genocide but afaik none goes that far. Has there ever been a genocide under this strict definition? If you are interested in real definitions, here is a video about the topic which doesn’t ignore the broader context.

And even if you disagree, which is your right obviously, the matter isn’t settled, but putting off an accusation that the International Court of Justice takes seriously as victim blaming or antisemitic should be below journalistic standards.

So war das nicht gemeint. Siehe meinen zweiten Punkt, dass programmieren in vielen Studiengängen und Berufen wichtig ist.

Übrigens: das, was man in der Schule im Informatikunterricht „lernt“, kann man in den meisten Studiengängen getrost ignorieren.

Wir hatten in der Oberstufe auch so Sachen wie sortier Algorithmen, Turing Maschinen und so, in Referaten auch P=/=NP, kontextfreie Grammatik, … klar auf einem ganz anderen Niveau, aber das kannst du über jedes Fach sagen. Der Deutschunterricht der Mittelstufe hilft dir beim Germanistik Studium auch nicht.

Und spätestens im Berufsleben wird dir Office eine Hilfe sein. Ich hab erst spät Sachen wie SVERWEIS gelernt, manche können nicht mal mit Excel rechnen.

Bei uns waren das einzelne Projekt Tage und zusätzlich im Kontext von anderen Fächern, aber kein eigenes Fach. Ist aber auch mehr als 10 Jahre her, ich glaub mittlerweile gibt es das als Fach, aber keine Ahnung

1. Auch Office bedienen, online Recherche, Medienkompetenz, … laufen unter (Schul) Informatik (so wie rechnen ja auch nicht wirklich Mathe ist)

2. Einfache Programmier Kenntnisse braucht man heute in mehr Studiengängen als man denkt, ich behaupte sogar in mehr als Kurvendiskussion (ohne auf die Frage “was kann weg” eingehen zu wollen)

Was hat sie denn gegen die Ampel? Abschiebungen laufen doch.

Das ist auch so eine Dimension, die mir bei dem Thema zu sehr untergeht: Die Ampel macht doch genau die Abschiebungspolitik für die AfD und BSW zu Recht kritisiert werden. Lass uns rechte Politik doch bitte den rechten Parteien überlassen.
