  • Lmao, lmfao even. The reemergence of sports betting is such a late stage capitalism indicator. Clearly too many old baseball heads have died and no one’s talking about the game fixing and violence that came with the betting scene in the early 20th century.

I do feel bad for the younger people getting sucked into the gambling cycle.

    Sports rant

If people aren’t watching sports anymore change the game so it’s more interesting. I’m not a huge fan of baseball but I think the pitch clock did a lot IMO to make the game way more watchable.

But no they’d rather change the laws to siphon more money from fans at the cost of integrity and player safety.

Break out the blurnsball already tf are we even doing.

  • I only played Dragons Dogma 1 a few years ago (maybe 1-2 years before DD2 came out) but IMO DD2 ended up mostly half-baked. The poor PC performance aside (seems to be an industry standard atp) the game just didn’t seem to have most of its ideas fully fleshed out and there isn’t enough content (i.e. enemy types).

It’s hard to say if this is just the results of Itsuno’s vision or Capcom’s ambivalence . DD1 had similar issues but what it did have fleshed out really shined through and made the game the classic that it is. It’s clear from what I’ve seen that Itsuno has had to fight tooth and nail to get both of those games made and while I do believe in the concepts put forth in the series, it just wasn’t there.

Itsuno should probably leave capcom and either start his own studio or go where his expertise and ideas will be better supported.
