She should sue the state of Indiana. I’m sure nonprofits like the eff, ACLU and freedom of the press foundation would be willing to help
Lemmy is growing but we need to work to make easy to allow reddit mods to setup instances and fund them
Well no but I am concerned that is will become a pattern. Trump has already stated that he will prosecute biden if he is reelected. I doubt he is going to be reelected but its possible a republican controlled Congress should decide to take biden to court.
I obviously don’t support policially charged trials but some conservatives do
I can’t tell if your joking.
All it takes is one crazy guy. If you think about the size of reddit it makes sense that there is at least one who is willing to harm others
You could always change instances
How does moderation work in subs? When I report something does it go to the mod of that sub or the admins of the instance?
Cough, mastodon.social and Lemmy.ml, cough
There is a huge influx of reddit refugees who are not using the platform. This new userbase is taxing on the current infrastructure
This would’ve been better a few years back
Possibly but at least Lemmy is federated.
This is why I feel that the word “minorities” should be avoided. It might be better to say “safe place for all”.
I personally find your comment to be a bit offensive. I do not consider myself to be in league with the governor of Florida and I would never use the word “woke”
I do my best to treat everyone with respect and dignity. I feel that hyper focusing on small groups of people is harmful and we need to focus on creating a fair and equal world. I am aware that there is plenty of racism and sexism in the world but I am only a person so I can’t fix everything. Just because I am conservative does not mean that I am christo-fascist
Antisemitic terrorists are minorities, should we include them as well.
I don’t like the term minorities because it is overly vauge and often takes on a bigger meaning than just the original word.
I’m not saying that presidents should have a get out if jail free card. However the trials feel a lot like left vs right to me.
This post is informative but I fail to see how it relates to reddit. Did you post under the wrong thread?
I think I’ll stay since all the other instances have a lot of negativity. I just wanted to highlight some of your bias.
This is why I support Lemmy.world. it is run by sysadmins and should be more reliable
