This is so awful. 60/80 hours is fucking insane. It’s just slavery.

Lmao every time I’ve gotten in trouble at work it is literally this.
Management loves to push their bullshit “live laugh love” mottos in your face but the second you go out of your way to help a pt it becomes “DIE CRY HATE” and suddenly there’s a new policy essentially saying personal kindness is a punishable offence.
I’m talking simple shit like letting my resident soon their fam during a Covid shutdown from my personal tablet because management cant figure out how to unlock zoom from our work tablets. No other supporting reason. My tablet was thoroughly wiped down before & after. Literally just zoom.
The family called to thank me and management burnt me on their personal device policy😶
I hate these people. It’s months now and I’m still mad lol.
Will do 🥰- I’m about half way through and it’s yet to bore me. I have zero interest (or understanding) in physics either and read that it was a bit of a slog in reviews but it’s really kept my interest so far.
We need a little book club for fiction up in this joint! I’m gonna go look and see if there is one haha
Super happy to have an alternative to reddit. Thanks to everyone who has built and is building this!
Having some trouble with using remmel as it won’t recognise my log in. Tried changing passwords but figured my account is new so it might be best to try again tomorrow.
I just started The Three Body Problem as well. Are you enjoying it?
I liked “A Memory Called Empire” as well. Hoping she does another book in that series.
I need fiction to eyebleach out whatever the fuck reality is doing these days.
I did too! 5 hours ago I think. I have to wait 72 hours though, not a month.
They don’t list what constitutes a “reactionary sub” according to them either. Or at least not from what I can tell on mobile.
I haven’t posted there in months either. I think maybe it’s because I commented in publicfreakout? I have no idea.
Isn’t that the company where they have unofficial jammers built into the bathrooms to prevent phone use? I remember reading that an employee had a heart attack in one and couldn’t call out.
