they always have been. i’ve been out as nonbinary since 2017 and i’ve had just as many weird libs be transphobic to me as conservatives. they just go about it differently.

I think Chinese media could play a big role in promoting more consciousness of what’s going on over there.

I think in the short term yeah but I wouldn’t be surprised if we ban Chinese media eventually for that reason.

I used to play bar trivia with a group of massive libs and the men on the team would pick arguments with me about China every week and then get mad when I wouldn’t immediately agree with them. The lady in the group thanked me before she moved away bc she didn’t think she’d ever heard someone talk about China the way I had before though so it wasn’t completely pointless.

I don’t think he was making bank though I think he was just doing it for the love of the game!

i had a friend in high school who would set his alarm during the summer so he’d be up in time to grind the ladder for Diablo (can’t remember which one bc i’m not a gamer.)

Edit: I forgot I also caught Blue Velvet for the first time in a theater too. god i love living five minutes away from a sick indie theater.
