Cope! I have a 13 Pro and I disabled 120Hz because I couldn’t tell the difference. Does it upset you that I’m not basking in the glory of a refresh rate of something higher than 60Hz?
I hope Apple never offers something above 60Hz on the base models because a higher refresh rate on a phone is completely unnecessary for me.
People pay extra for the extended software support Apple provides for their devices and you’re asking if it is worth it to apply a free software update that might provide new features, better stability, or maybe both and then some?

Apple of the past would’ve just priced the device at $2000+ (16/512) with no option to go lower. A different set of people would then complain that they only needed the performance of a MBA but wanted the screen of the MBP, which is what this is.
I started the process of upgrading from a Roku TV by purchasing an Apple TV to give me more time to wait for TVs to go on sale and came to a similar conclusion.
Now I look at smart TVs as simply TVs again.
