I have two and honestly they are more trouble than they’re worth. When they work, it’s wonderful. Truly the best controllers I’ve ever used. But for my setup, and this could be a me problem, there are severe issues with connectivity. If the controller turns itself off while a game is running (which happens to me fairly often, obligations at home etc) when you reconnect the controller thinks it’s now the 2nd slot. And when you turn it off to try and reset it, it’ll now think it’s the 3rd. And so on until you quit the game entirely, delete the controllers from system devices, and reconnect it completely fresh.
Not to mention, with the old 8bitdo controllers (the ones designed to look more like SNES controllers), since they were Bluetooth only, you could connect them in switch mode to your PC and use them like a steam controller and program gyro control into games. You can try doing that with the new controllers, but it is extremely finicky and only worked for me on a handful of games. So I still use my old one when I want gyro.
It’s a shame because they’re honestly just such good controllers, barring these issues.
That’s one of my favorite things about the older games. I’m glad AC6 brought back hidden weapons, I just wish there were more parts to find overall.
With a director who’s most known for doing some hunger games ripoff-ripoff YA garbage. It’s so amazingly beyond parody that if you told me Nintendo’s plan was to delegitimize film as an art form, I’d believe you.
