The down-voting experiment for LemmyNSFW was disabled a few hours ago. I don’t know what you can see but on my end, there are only options to upvote. When it was enabled ( for a day or so ) there was also no up/down totals. Are the UI’s showing different things?

Nope … tried that 100 times. BUT … in total desperation I Ctrl-A’d the entire pile of languages selecting ALL of them and that worked. Problem solved … thanks for the help.

The post directly under the Asa post is yours and like several other communities, the Mods posts don’t show. Having the same problem with https://lemmynsfw.com/c/boatingfun, can’t see the Mods posts either. Strange. Any clues?

Thank you for dedicating your time and trouble to this platform lemmyposter212. I’m sure the shit and abuse you get every day makes it all worthwhile.
Perhaps in the future, consideration for a feature that allows the Mod of the community to opt in or out of allowing downvoting might be considered, specific to just that community. This would take the debate out of the Admins hands, give new posters a chance to get started without being bashed, and provide an outlet for those who just need to downvote something.
