    I don’t know, this is a weird story all around. Someone is lying, and my money is on the shelter (“We don’t allow owners to stay with the pets during the euthanasia” my ass), but who knows?

    All I know is the veterinarian I know constantly complains about owners who choose not to stay with the pet.
