I mean, the current guess is 10% of the population. Mostly speaking a lot of it is relatable because it is a common experience, they become signs of something more when it impacts your life and wellbeing on a regular basis.

Do you feel like you’re often anxious about missing appointments because if you don’t stress about it you will absolutely forget?

I was more thinking of the fact that people here are mostly people who left reddit to try this new thing called Lemmy.

And I know a very specific type of person that is constantly trying new things.

    • Not exactly anxious or stressed, but I can’t make myself do anything - I can’t read a book or play a game or anything - because in the back of my mind I do have the thought that I’ll get too invested in it and suddenly realise it’s 5 minutes before a thing that I should have left half an hour ago for

Right, just because you have symptoms doesn’t mean it’s a disorder for you. Many people learn to adjust to manage their lives once they are older.

I probably would have benefited from meds as a kid or when trying to go to college. Now, I wouldn’t change how things turned out at all, and I don’t feel like treatment would help.
