President Joe Biden’s advisors are furious about Gavin Newsom’s plan to debate Ron DeSantis in the middle of the 2024 presidential campaign cycle, RadarOnline.com has learned.

In a surprising development to come after the California governor challenged DeSantis to a one-on-one debate earlier this summer, White House sources revealed that Biden’s advisors are “angered” about the potential Newsom-DeSantis “spectacle.”

Also surprising are reports that some Biden staffers fear Newsom is running a “shadow 2024 campaign” against President Biden and that the Newsom-DeSantis debate is part of that shadow campaign.

Yeah right, Newsome isn’t doing this for this election, this is for 2028, it’s also because he’s tired of Florida and Texas shit talking Cali constantly, and DeSantis shit talking Newsome personally.

The only sites you see talking about this are the tabloid sites like Radar online and The Daily Mail, read the sources for all of this “malarkey” in the article, this is the tabloid media either trying to make something out of this, or the Right wingers behind the tabloids are trying to push propaganda.

Newsome is far too smart of a politician to screw things up against Trump, if he whups DeSantis’s ass in a debate people who pay attention to politics are going to remember that in 2028.

DeSantis also dumped a plane full of migrants in Sacramento and then showed up in town a few weeks later for a fundraiser.

Newsom may in fact have his eye on 2028, but for him this debate is personal. He wants to embarrass DeSantis publicly. All reports indicated those migrants were in bad shape and Newsom, if I remember correctly, ended up personally involved in helping them get sorted.

While I wouldn’t be against that, the DNC will find some way to stop him from being able to gain any chance.

He shouldn’t run, there’s no precedent for it, Biden is the incumbent, and that’s who should run.

It’s not about the “DNC” finding some way to stop him, it’s about why should we overturn years of precedent for Newsome?

Misgivings aside about age or whatever else about Biden, he’s the party leader, and without the support of the party he would look weaker not just to the voting populace but also the world, it would seriously undermine any of Biden’s future endeavors once elected. Biden’s administration hasn’t been perfect but it’s definitely earned a shot in the general election, and I look forward to voting for Newsome in 2028 barring him doing any dumb shit.

Wouldn’t want someone besides the candidate the DNC unilaterally picked to be able to run for president. That would threaten democracy.
