I very much agree that mass shooters fit a very narrow profile, but I guess I was talking more about the society we have that creates this type of person. Everything from our weak social services to our shitty town planning helps contribute to the nasty attitude this kind of person becomes susceptible to. To be sure, the direct rhetoric they follow is also the culprit, but perhaps I’m focused on other things, since no fixing those compounding factors improves everyone’s lives instead of just the potential shooter’s life.
