I am theoretically switching over from Reddit to Lemmy. Finding myself spending more time on Lemmy than on Reddit. Maybe it’s because I am limited to using the desktop and can’t aimlessly browse Reddit on my iPhone. Of late, the only subreddits I cared for were on sports and their matchday threads and r/watches. I found myself aimlessly browsing through r/AskReddit and asking and answering pointless questions.

I realized today it has been one week since I logged in to Reddit… I was pretty much on it in all my spare time. Woke up, looked at Apollo on my iPad, down time at work, browse on the work PC. Lunch Break, Apollo on my phone, evening on the couch with the wife watching a show, Reddit on my laptop, go to bed, Apollo on the iPad again. It was… too much. WAY TO MUCH, but it was just what I was used to. Lemmy scratches the itch but I’m also working on maybe not wasting so much time on any social media.
