    Razzle dazzle probably didn’t work in WWI and was totally ineffective by the time radar showed up in WWII. This kinda seems like the naval version of a cope cage to me.

      That’s addressed in the video. This is more likely aimed at disrupting target identification from low quality photo/video like drones or wide angle satellites.

        So they’re trying to camouflage against the milbloggers? Ukraine isn’t using google maps for their targeting decisions.

        Might it confuse a drone driver a little? Perhaps. To be honest those cope cages maybe could have defeated a loitering munition that might otherwise have attacked an opened hatch. I suspect the benefit is going to be extremely marginal though.
